The last weekend in May took Humber Harmony and One Hull of a Chorus to Harrogate for the BABS Sing2024 event and as always a good time was had.
Humber Harmony were delighted to finish in the top half of male choruses in the competition for the first time in a field of 30, and even more delighted to receive the LABBS award for Entertainment for their performance of "When You're a Professional Pirate" and "Love Led Us Here", both delivered with piratical panache.
One Hull of a Chorus (the club's mixed chorus which only rehearses occasionally) sang "Zing Went the Strings of My Heart" and "Almost There" and were awarded the Best Small Chorus prize which included a welcome cash prize.
